Healthy churches are led by healthy leaders. That statement begs the question: Are you healthy? In order to have the influence God desires for you to have, you must keep your personal life in order. The truth is, you can only impart to others what is true in your own life. If those who serve under your leadership become like you, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Do they also become like Jesus? We will explore these and other questions in this class.

The Bible reminds us about the importance of building our lives. This includes our relationships. Proverbs 14:1 [NLT] says, “A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.” The wisest thing we can do as women in leadership is be committed to building our lives and inspiring the women in our world to do the same. Many women isolate themselves in tough seasons, but when we share a common purpose, we find ourselves lifted out of personal pain. Pleasure isn’t the antidote for pain; purpose is. In this session we will talk about women in leadership squad goals and the importance of focusing collectively on what those goals are.
